January 31, 2012, Myrtle Beach, S.C. – Representatives for Coastal Uncorked Food, Wine & Spirits Festival announced today that Grand Strand Magazine has been named as the presenting sponsor for the 2012 Festival, which takes place April 22-29 in Myrtle Beach, S.C. This is the publication’s first year participating as a sponsor.

January 16, 2012, Myrtle Beach, S.C. – Representatives for Coastal Uncorked Food, Wine & Spirits Festival announced today the schedule of events for the 2012 festival. April 22-29, 2012 will mark the third annual Coastal Uncorked Food, Wine & Spirits Festival with events including: a restaurant week; specialty wine, spirits and beer dinners; Oceanfront Grand Tasting Tents; a Sip, Savor & Stroll at The Market Common; and The Chef’s Challenge and Tasting Finale. WINNING POSTER AND OFFICIAL COCKTAIL OF COASTAL UNCORKED FOOD, WINE AND SPIRITS FESTIVAL REVEALED
Representatives for Coastal Uncorked Food Wine & Spirits Festival, today announced the “Official Cocktail” of Coastal Uncorked. Christa Brown and Jeffrey Ray, mixologists from the House of Blues, defended their title and won the competition for the second year in a row with the creation of the “Ciroc Gummy Berry Martini.” The People’s Choice Award was given to Lars Decker of Bistro 90 for the creation of the “Bistro Basil and Berrytini.”

COASTAL UNCORKED POSTER UNVEILING EVENT AND CIRC MIXOLOGY CHALLENGE NOVEMBER 8 AT REVOLUTIONS, BROAD
Representatives from Coastal Uncorked Food Wine & Spirits Festival announced today that the festival will hold the poster unveiling event and Circ mixology challenge on Tuesday, November 8 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Revolutions Night Club at Broadway at the Beach. The 2012 festival poster and the official cocktail of Coastal Uncorked will be announced.

COASTAL UNCORKED FOOD, WINE & SPIRITS FESTIVAL SECOND ANNUAL FARM TO TABLE DINNER A SUCCESS
Representatives from Coastal Uncorked Food, Wine & Spirits Festival announced today that the Farm to Table event was a success and tickets sold out in less than 30 days of going on sale. A total of 204 guests attended this year’s unique dining experience, doubling in size from the 2010 inaugural event. Farm to Table was held on Sunday, October 2, 2011 at Thompson Farm and Nursery in Conway, S.C.

COASTAL UNCORKED PRESENTS HGTC WITH PORTION OF FUNDS RAISED DURING 2011 FESTIVAL
Coastal Uncorked Food, Wine & Spirits Festival today presented a check to Horry Georgetown Technical College (HGTC) Culinary School for $10,000. The check presentation was held earlier today at the HGTC Grand Strand Campus. Heidi Vukov, chairman of the Coastal Uncorked board of directors, presented the check to Neyle Wilson, president of HGTC, and Tom Maeser, assistant vice president for continuing education and workforce development at HGTC.

COASTAL UNCORKED ANNOUNCES CALL FOR ENTRIES FOR 2012 EVENT POSTER COMPETITION
Representatives from Coastal Uncorked Food, Wine and Spirits Festival today announced that the festival is accepting entries for the 2012 festival poster competition beginning Monday, August 22. All entries must be submitted by Friday, October 14 to The Brandon Agency during normal business hours, which are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The competition is open to artists of all ages who submit an original piece of artwork for judging. A committee of judges will select the winning poster based on its design quality, marketability and its ability to most effectively display the concept of the Coastal Uncorked Food, Wine and Spirits Festival.

COASTAL UNCORKED FESTIVAL MARKS SECOND SUCCESSFUL YEAR AND ANNOUNCES DATES FOR 2012
Representatives from Coastal Uncorked Food, Wine & Spirits Festival announced today that the overall 2011 festival was a success with twice the amount of attendees as the inaugural year, and the dates for the 2012 festival.
