On the final night of Coastal Uncorked, seven area chefs competed in a Food Fight Challenge at the Marina Inn. The Food Challenge and Tastings began at 6 p.m., and the nearly sold out event included food, wine and spirits tasting tables along with a themed dessert room accompanied by Royal Cup Coffee bliss. After an hour of sampling the delicious treats attendees entered the ballroom to watch seven area chefs battle it out in a live iron chef style competition with mystery ingredients. Judges for the night were Matt and Ted Lee and Mr. Tony Hirsh, the festival wine chairman. Chef Eric Masson of the Brentwood in Little River took the crown for the evening, battling out some fierce competition.
